When people think of someone being a Player, there are usually negative characteristics that come to mind. When we use the term Player, we are talking about the most successful people and what they have in common.
Ask any successful person and they will tell you they all have a coach. Coaches have the ability to work with you to help you achieve your individual goals for you business and your personal life. It doesn’t matter how successful you already are, from superstar athletes to superstar CEOs, there is always something you can learn from a good coach.
Most successful people have not one, not two, but many mentors. Mentors are great. They can teach you the ins and outs because they, just like you and me, have been in the trenches. Now if you are really lucky, you will find a mentor that will actually allow you to watch them work in their everyday setting. We are talking a real life “Reality Show.”
As Cy Syms, the clothing store chain owner used to say, “An educated consumer is our best customer.” No matter what business you are if you educate your patients/clients/customers you will keep them engaged, and coming back for more.
The only way to keep stuffing the funnel with new patients/clients/customers is to market, market, market. Only through the repetition of marketing can you brand yourself and your company and then follow-up to convert leads into actual clients. Marketing is the glue that keeps it all together.
People mistakenly think if they have one or two of the above that is all they will need to be successful. Realize this. You need all four pieces if you are serious about being successful! You cannot substitute, separate or exchange any of the four for any other of the four. They all serve a different purpose and all are necessary.
