Would you like to get more patients to say yes to your care recommendations? If you can’t get most of the new patients that come into your office to say yes, it won’t matter how many new patients you get because you will need hundreds of them.
If you need 20 new patients a month to grow your practice, and only 20% accept your care recommendations that means you need 100 new patients a month just to get 20. Sounds just about impossible, right? What about this. Have you ever had a patient drop out of care? Well if 20% of the patients that agree to start care leave, regardless of the reason, you will also need to replace those 4 patients that dropped out. To get those 4 patients you will need another 20 patients a month. 20% of 20. Do you see why so many practices are failing? You need 120 new patients a month just to get 20 good ones.
That my friends is what we call a losing proposition.
So what does all this mean to you? It means you need to focus on the real problem you have. Stop buying programs that don’t solve your problem just because someone is selling it. So let me show you how to solve the real problem. Taking the same 20 patients a month you need. Lets say you now get 80% of patients to accept your care plan instead of instead of 20%. Now you only need 25 new patient to reach your goal. Lets say of the 20 new patients 20% still drop out. Now you only need 5 additional patients to fill that void. So now you only need a total of 30 new patients a month to reach your goal rather than 120. Now that is doable, right?
