Video Marketing Pearl of the Week- Google Your New Patient Machine

Hi, I’m Dr. Alan and I want to show you how simple it is to take advantage of the great publicity that is available right now. As you know, the last few weeks I’ve been sharing with you what your website should look like and how to get Google to show it to people.

If you listened as SYSTEM client Dr. Fred Carbone did, to what I shared with you, you would have said what he said. “Made my webpage more mobile friendly and wow, did we get a bunch of new patient calls last week. I think I beat the other Chiro’s off the blocks when Google made the last rankings updates.” Pretty cool, right? Now, if you are a Chiropractor, I have a question for you. If you are a metabolic typing advisor or a functional diagnostic nutritionist, you also need to listen to what I’m about to ask because there are plenty of opportunities to take advantage of this for your business. Here’s the question: As a Chiropractor, how did you take advantage of the positive press that occurred in the last month that literally would have put you tops in Google for those searching for what you do? In case you have not seen them, the first one appeared in the Harvard Health Letter called “Chiropractic care for pain relief.” Very positive. They mentioned Chiropractors try to correct the bodies alignment to relieve pain and improve function and to help the body heal itself. That would have been pretty important to leverage for your practice, right? The second positive press came recently when Jordan Spieth thanked his Chiro after winning the Masters Golf Tournament; another important piece for you to leverage.

This kind of positive press are gifts you need to jump all over. The problem is 90% of you did not do anything with these opportunities, and what most of you consider doing something is, clicking the like button on Facebook to a post someone else made about it. That is worthless. You get nothing from that. As Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO, and founder of Facebook said last week, “Liking or commenting a post will appear lower in the news feed or not at all.” This is what you should have done and why. You should have made a short video talking about each article like we teach all our system clients. Then you should upload it onto YouTube and made it search engine friendly like we teach you. Then you should have posted it on the blog we give you, then you would have published it your database via the iContact account we give you so all of your patients would have known about it. Then simply share it on social media like Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, and of course, if you were a system client it would’ve popped up on all the apps we give you like your own iPhone, iPad and, Samsung apps.

Now here is the why. Google knows what’s trending on the internet. If you create a video and a blog about what’s trending, when someone goes to Google and looks for a Chiropractor near them, or a metabolic typing advisor or a functional diagnostic nutritionist, Google says, “Wow, here’s someone that’s right on top of what is trending that is exactly what this person is searching for.” So, Google gives you the top billing in the search results. What does top billing in Google search mean for your business? Well, if they wind up on your website and you do all the things I’ve showed you already, they call and become a patient. Is a new patient that pays you $1,500 or $2,000 or $4,000 worth 30 minutes of your time each week, sure? If you devote that time, guess what, you’re more likely to get 4, 5, or 10 new patients a month and what is that worth to you?

Let me leave you with this. Only 5% of everyone watching this video will ever really be successful in the healthcare world, just like only 5% of the general population will ever be successful. If you want to be part of the 5%, you need to do what 95% are not willing to do.
