<p>How is it that the biggest companies in the world can get it so wrong that they can go from household name to totally bankrupt? We are talking behemoths with all the resources and talent, yet they still blew it.</p>
<p><em>&#8220;Eastman Kodak said early Thursday (January 19th, 2012), that it filed for bankruptcy protection, as the 131-year-old film pioneer struggled to adapt to an increasingly digital world.</em></p>
<p><em>Kodak has become the latest giant to falter in the face of advancing technology. The Borders Group liquidated last year after having failed to gain a toehold in e-books, while Blockbuster sold itself to Dish Network last year as its retail outlets lost ground to online competitors like Netflix.&#8221;</em></p>
<p><em>&#8220;Companies that once were large and massive and failed to adjust to the new reality have been left behind.  Xerox that owned the photocopying industry is now a small player in what was essentially its core competency —  document management. AT&amp;T used to be a giant wireline phone company that controlled how we communicated with each other. Now it is a cellphone provider and only a component of the way we communicate. Why? Because communication itself has since moved on to a new kind of network and isn’t limited by per-minute billing.&#8221;</em></p>
<h4>These companies have failed to keep up with the trends. Can you afford to make the same mistakes they did?</h4>
<p>Know this:</p>
<ul>
<li>Research shows that 80% of all businesses fail during the first year (so you&#8217;re feeling pretty good about yourself you made it past year 1)</li>
<li>92% fail by year five (if you&#8217;re still around, don&#8217;t get too cocky)</li>
<li>96% fail by year 10 (and some of you thought you were out of the woods)</li>
<li>Only 1 in 25 businesses will make it to year 10</li>

<h4>And if you get to year 10 or beyond, are you going to be making any real money?</h4>

<li>Studies also show that only 5% of all businesses generate $1,000,000 or more in annual revenue</li>
<li>Less than 1% of all businesses will generate between 1-5 million</li>
<li>Just 1.5% of all businesses will go on to generate 10 million or more in revenues</li>

<p>Everyone knows, or at least should, that whether you are working the internet, giving a lecture or performing a screening, you need to give a &#8220;Call to Action (CTA).&#8221;  If you don&#8217;t your audience will not know what you want them to do next, and in fact they will think there is nothing they need to do.</p>
<p>Do you want them to sign up to be on your mailing list?</p>
<p>Do you want them to become a client or a patient?</p>
<p>Do you want them to click your Like Button?</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t give them the CTA they will never do any of those things.</p>
<p>Some people are good at giving that first CTA to get people into their funnel.  The problem is, they do not realize that the first CTA is really just the first step.  In other words, if you give the CTA to get people to sign up, what do you want next?  If you get people to click your Like button, what do you want next?</p>
<p>If you are using Facebook for your business, and you should, you have already found out that having a lot of Fans is worthless unless you can convert them into customers, clients or patients.  There are many ways to do that.</p>
<p>In this video we look at an easy strategy that few people use to engage people and move them from your Facebook page into your funnel so you can convert them into actual customers and clients.  Enjoy!</p>

<p>If you want to get in the Corporate Wellness game you need to know one thing.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Some insurance carriers require a certain percentage of employees participate in a wellness program in order to allow a discount in the company’s healthcare insurance premium.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Most people know this is the greatest challenge of creating a Corporate Wellness Program.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Corporations want to institute Wellness Programs for a number of reasons.   Topping the list is a way to lower the cost of insurance premiums they pay.  For some companies, insurance premiums cost more than it costs to produce the goods they sell.  They also know that healthier employees will put in fewer claims, miss less days from work and be more productive.  You can easily see what all these reasons have in common.  The need to cut down their costs.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The problem is that companies also know that the toughest thing for any Corporate Wellness Program to accomplish is engaging all the employees because then and only then does the company get to realize the savings they are intending to achieve by starting a Corporate Wellness Program in the first place.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Regardless of what most people think, just about all Corporate Wellness Programs are the same and there are tons of competitors trying to get into these corporations.  For most healthcare providers this is the greatest challenge-getting into the corporations in the first place.   Why is it so difficult?  Simple. There are big players in the space that have lots of research and stats, and lots of resources in people, time and money to sell their programs to these corporations.</p>

<p>Getting people to your website is always a challenge but an even bigger challenge is getting them to leave their name and contact information.</p>
<p>In fact, the main goal of your website is to get people to leave their name and email. Nothing is more important. The problem is that right now you only have about seven (7) seconds to get your visitors engaged and get them to leave their contact information. After that, they are gone.</p>
<p>Just realize this. If you do not get them to leave their contact information when they first come to your website, chances are they will never come back again and that is a lost potential lead.</p>
<p>People don&#8217;t address this problem enough. If you are spending lots of time and money to get hundreds of people to your site and only a small percentage actually ever leave their contact information, then you have to drive even more people to your site. However, if you figure out how to get more of them to leave their contact information (higher conversion) then you can focus your energy on using repetition to convert these leads to actual clients and patients. <p>Every marketing program basically has the same tools and technology.  A website that is hard to get people to visit and even harder to get them to come back, an email program that only about 10% to 15% will open, auto-responders that are email dependent, and a blog.  We can consider those the technology.  These are not where the value in people&#8217;s lives are.  Where the value is, is in the content we deliver through these technologies.</p>
